You can also make your own natural dishwashing liquid.
Several recipes are available. Here is a rather simple recipe from the site Bren Did. You will need only 4 ingredients:
1 cup of hot water
1 cup of Liquid Castille Soap
1/3 cup washing soda
1/2 tablespoon of Vegetable Glycerin (optional)
Avoid the following chemicals in regular products
Ammonia (present if the label says “do not use with chlorine bleach” ): irritant and corrosive to the skin, eyes, respiratory and digestive tract
Dyes (coal tar): carcinogen, skin sensitizer, photosensitizer
Artificial fragrances: allergens
Quaternium 15: irritant, possible carcinogen (by release of formaldehyde)
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate: irritant, may cause contact dermatitis
