| Grout is used in between ceramic tiles to fill the gaps, to avoid water infiltration, and to prevent the tiles from getting cracked or moving over time. Standard grout is made up of a mixture of water, cement, and sand and generally considered not offensive. Epoxy grout is waterproof and resists mould better than standard grout but it is more expensive, more difficult to apply and requires considerable off-gassing time. Always test before using for people who expereince Multiple Chemical Sensitivities. |
